Develops paper -intended for use with high chloride contact glossy papers such as Haloid Ranger, Marvell, etc.. but works on all
Type U-1

Solf-warm toned prints? Solf?

Will not overdevelop
can be left in the developer up to 3 hours -no less than 3 minutes
No fixer needed. One solution takes care of everything

Can be left in open tray for 8 days without oxidizing

So what is it ..what made of?
Is there toner in it that changes the silver to effectively "fix" the paper?
You guys know more than I do
It's kind of neat if want to process a print quickly

The name "Unidel" suggests that it's a monbath with developer and fixer combined in one solution. I suspect Ian Grant will know something about it.

Look at this thread for some info on monobaths, mostly for films--

(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Shoot! I always skip over those monobath threads.

Thanks, David.

I have Instant Fixol which you dump into the developer but it's 1x use and that made me think this was something entirely different
probably not too different at all

From APUGs main man PE

"Just FYI, D76 can act as a monobath for pure chloride emulsions.

... Anyhow, it is the sulfite in the D76 that"

lol is this stuff esentially D76? It worked on RC paper.

Any idea on Solf-toned?
