(from Hampden turn north on Inca
then left on Englewood Pkwy
near the Light Rail Station)
June is junk" month. So bring some images of junk. Any kind, anywhere and share your favorite junk place.
At the last meeting we discussed two possible field trips. These would be in lieu of having a meeting in July.
The group was in favor of going to the Four Mile House in Glendale for reenactments on July 4. This is south of Leetsdale on Cherry. The admission is $4 for seniors. It opens at 9 am and we should arrive early to get good parking near the entrance.
The second, is to have a trip to Waldorf to photograph wild flowers that are usually excellent around the fourth of July. We would do it on Sat. July 7. Waldorf is above Georgetown on a dirt road that is fairly level but appreciates a higher clearance vehicle.
An alternative, is the Georgetown Cemetery.
It is just this side of Georgetown. No decision was made on this.
