Along with a bunch of others, I ordered an Intax back for my Bronica ETRS back in June, 2025. At the time, the anticipated shipping date was September, 2025. That date has been pushed forward many times, most recently to January, 2026. The same has been true for the RB67 back, the SQ back, and the Mamiya 645 back. There has been no useful communication from Jollylook and the live chat feature on their website goes unmanned. I find it interesting that as of today (2/2/26), the estimated shipping date for all these products remains at January. I would strongly suggest that you not order anything from Jollylook. I extend this to products that are allegedly in stock and ready to ship because you would simply be rewarding them for engaging in what looks like a scam.

That stinks!

Due to the war with Russia, they may not have electrical service right now.
I've not been in touch with (or even know of) Jollylook, but I can confirm that I was talking to a seller of something entirely different in Kyiv and they 'disappeared' for a week or so recently due to repeated power outages, no heating and obviously also lack of internet access.

However, that doesn't explain a shipment that's being postponed by several months starting in summer 2025. Save for (up to now) relatively brief service interruptions, much of Ukraine continues to function remarkably well in terms of doing business, including postal services.

Thank you for the warning!

Yesterday I received this email ( in response to me writing to them twice re the Mamiya 645 back):

Dear Marc,

Thank you very much for reaching out, we really appreciate you checking in.

First of all, please accept our sincere apologies for the delay and for the lack of communication since your order. We completely understand how concerning this can feel, and we’re very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

We recently sent out an honest update regarding the RB67 and Bronica ETRS backs. I’ll gladly duplicate that update for you below in case it didn’t reach you.

The good news first:
The product itself is ready. We already have fully working and tested final prototypes. We’ve also developed and manufactured custom screws specifically for the Mamiya system. All packaging and boxes are already produced, and all developer units for this batch are ready as well.

The only component we were waiting for is the MJF-printed bodies.

Unfortunately, our MJF 3D printing contractor let us down. They delayed production multiple times and ultimately confirmed they could not complete the order. We are truly sorry about this, we know many customers have been waiting for a long time, and we fully understand the frustration.

Right now, we are urgently testing two new MJF contractors. We expect to receive sample parts within about one week. Both companies have strong experience and industrial-grade printers, so we are hopeful.

If the samples meet our quality standards, we will immediately place the full production order. Production should then take approximately two weeks, and shipping should start roughly 3–4 weeks from now.

For transparency, you can also follow the current status of each instant back at this page:
https://jollylook.com/pages/instant...ic-analog-cameras-compatible-with-instax-film

For those who choose to stay with us, thank you. We are pushing this forward as fast as possible while making sure the quality meets our standards.

We’ve attached photos of the working prototypes, development units, custom screws, packaging, and prepared components so you can see the real current status.

Thank you again for your patience and support, it honestly means a lot to our small team.

Kind regards,
Kate
Jollylook Team

I tried to get a refund from them, but the payment was pending for about a week, and right after the buyer protection from PayPal ended they cancelled the refund. I called PayPal and they confirmed that it was cancelled on their end. They have not responded to several emails I have now sent, so I suspect I just got scammed.

It's March 24th. Still waiting. -/

Also, did they just use Lomo's wide back?

I certainly don't see the hand crank on their example/prototype photo.

Yes, they shamelessly did. You can even see Lomo's counter window, the film presence window and the Lomo back opening mechanism. And yes, the handle is missing and would not fit to this design...
