I remember there being a guy that has parts and service for Jobo's. I cannot find the thread or post where he listed his co-ordinates and wonder if anyone knows of this technician that is located in the states.
I am not looking for Omega-Sattar but an individual.
any help would be appreciated

I think you're talking about Dave Smith out in California. He can be contacted at joboman@aol.com or at 323-227-1869.

He seems to be very busy; I've been trying for 2 weeks to talk to him about my own Jobo issues. So
if you're in a hurry you might be outta luck. He is well spoken of in online forums for the quality of his work and service, so I'm hoping to be able to talk to him soon.

You will probably need to have your service done at Omega-Satter. They are reliable, and quite good-but costly. It is possible, depending upon the issues involved, that you will have to wait for parts.

The lack of other service personnel makes the Jobo increasingly costly to repair.

Bob,

Bill Zorn, the China photographer, spoke on several subjects at the 2007 Louisville, View Camera Conference, the year before the disaster. At some point I remember him saying
That he used someone on the east coast, I think maybe New Jersey, for jobo repair and parts. I tried to get back to him for that name, but the quest got lost in all the things happening at the event. Perhaps Bill can help you. billzorn@billzorn.com If he does help please let me know as well.

Thanks,

John Powers

Thanks for all your help

Joboman is the guy I was thinking about.

On a side note the problem is with my water pump motor, turns out I can buy this at my local volkswagan dealership.
