I just got a cpe 2 at a reasonable price, but the rollers seem to only fit my 2500 series tank.

Does anyone know if one can buy rollers that fit the 1500 series tanks any more? Preferably in the UK/EU.

Also would it damage the unit to develop film without the rollers?

The rollers go directly onto the base block (either on the bath base or on the rods if you have a Lift) for 2500 series tanks. The 1500 series tanks need the rollers on offset arms that point inwards towards the tank. This puts the rollers higher and closer to the rotating axis. So no arms for the 2500; 1500 need arms.

If you try running the tank without support I would expect it to fall off the magnet or the Lift at some point.

There are no arms on this roller unfortunately.

You occasionally see rollers and arms for this processor on the U.K. e-bay. Do a check. There might be a set there now.

disclaimer: blatant self promoting, but here is what you need:

Disregard the shipping cost on the site that can be worked out much cheaper.

Would these work with this base:

which is the one I have.

lol I just had this same issue. Have a CPA-2 and not knowing any better, I have been processing away with rollers for a larger Tank. (I have a 1500 series). Finally got around to trying to figure out why my tank was so out of level. Spent a little time looking for an adjustment on the machine itself. Finally figured out that I need the little extension arms that fit on the base block. Unsnapped the rollers from the base block, put the arms on and then the existing rollers on the extension. Brilliant
