I can relate to CatLABs calling you out publicly on that, given that it seems to be their picture you took. Nothing worse than someone stealing your carefully taken picture to sell their own product, without so much as a mention that it's not the actual item they're selling. I call out people on ebay all the time for stealing my photos. Sadly the only method there is via private message. I'd much rather shame them in public ;-)

Thanks for the "advice" Catlabs, but next time a simple PM would have been less patronizing. Best.

Touchy, touchy. See the previous post.

The injustice of reusing what's on the net. Right up there with world hunger. Lol

You posted a stolen image. Therefore you're a thief. Just because it's on the web doesn't give you the right to do whatever you want with it. The company my wife works for is in the middle of a dispute as we speak for "borrowing" an image they found online. Turns out, the stock agency tracks their images. $600 for a small jpeg.

If it was my image, I'd have the moderators remove this thread.

Well, those of us here who make our living by being photographers take this extremely seriously. I've had too many organizations "reuse" images without taking into account the time, effort, and money that goes into making those images. It's nothing less than theft, clear and simple. In line with that, I'll make sure I neither buy anything from, or sell anything to the OP. And thanks to Catlabs for pointing it out.
