I just took a look on B&H's site where they have the CPP-2 listed as discontinued. Prior to that, they had it for sale at $3400.00. AFIK, B&H was the last store in the U.S. to stock the processor. Another one bites the dust.

You may want to check with Omega Satter and see if they can get any if you are interested.

JOBO actually stopped producing these processors a while ago, they announced this in their press release May 9, 2006. I think the used market will be able to supply anyone that wants to buy one still and there are still people around who can repair them. There are actually still a few places in Germany that seem to have new CPP-2s in stock (Foto Brenner, Phototec, Lumière).

Fotoimpex list CPP2 for 1290 Euros netto or 1535 Euros brutto in their German language catalogue. That is lot cheaper than 3400 USD...

NO they didn't stop making them. They stopped making the ATL series of professional processors. There has since been a small production run of ATL-1500 but those are probably sold out now.
The amateur/semi professional processors are still being made. i.e. the CPP-2 and the CPE-2 plus are still being made.

I recently called Omega Satter to purchase a new CPP-2 Motorhead and was told that they are no longer available. Not taking their word for it, I e-mailed JoBo in Germany. Below is the response from Bernd Paradis of JoBo, which I've edited only to remove my last name and his e-mail so that he doesn't get spammed. 110v/60Hz CPP-2 Motorheads are no longer being made unless JoBo has changed their mind since 20 February 2008.

Well I phoned them last year when it was said all production had stopped and was told the cpp-2 was still in production. So things must have changed.
However, I know the CPP-2 is still available in the UK but it may also be true production has stopped as a production run generates enough product for 12 months or more given the current demand.
So buy one now if you can find one.

According to the press release in May, 2006, all darkroom equipment including the Autolab, Printlab, ProDry, Paper Dryers and all color processors (this I take to mean including the CPP-2) will no longer be produced. They might have made a few after the announcement but I am pretty sure that they are not making them anymore. Foto Brenner is still offering the CPP-2 + Lift as a set for EUR 999,-, so there must still be unsold stock.
