Jobo CPP-2 plumbing?

Can a CPP-2 be run without it being plumbed in. That is, could I manually fill and empty the water bath and then use it to set water bath and chemical temps and run the motor?

For B&W I just fill it with about the temperature I want and don't even worry about setting the temp.
