I have a Jobo CPA-2 processor with lift. When rotation motor turns anticlockwise it squeaks, when it turns clockwise it does'nt. What is the problem and can I fix it by myself (lubrication?).
Try putting a film of petrolatum between the drum-holding latches and the shoulder of the cog. If thats where the squeak is the lubricant should make it quiet. Thats also a good lubricant for the aluminum tube that the drum cradle slides on to accommodate different length drums. A thin film of petrolatum will also help keep the gears running smooth and quiet.
Lube the transfer gear shaft! There is a hole on the assembly into which grease can be injected, or you can disassemble the transfere gear shaft and coat it with lubricant. I'd not put grease any where else.
