New to developing my own film! Recently acquired a Jobo ATL 2300 and an Intellifaucet.
I'm unsure how to connect the two, however. The Jobo has a hot and cold intake. The Intellifaucet also has a hot and cold intake, but only one outlet. From the Intellifaucet outlet, do I hook it up to the cold intake or the hot intake, or does it matter?
A little confused about all of this initial installation!
The intellifaucet connects to the Jobo's "hot" inlet. Should be called tempered inlet.
Cold water i used for filling up the main trough in the morning, though you can manually fill with hot water to speed things up.
Set the Intellifaucet to the process temperature and enjoy.
If you're doing B&W at 68 degrees, hook a cold water line up to the Jobo cold water inlet. The 2300 uses that inlet to cool down the water bath if it goes over temp. If room temp is 78 and you're trying to run a 68 degree water bath, the Jobo will periodically need the cold water to cool the bath down to 68.
No, you did not "hear" me say that because i did not.
Both inlets must be connected for the machine to work.
If you want to start up faster when the machine is empty, you can fill it up manually with hot water with a hose (or use the fast start up function).
