I am looking for a project rebuild of either a Jobo ATL 2, ATL 2 Plus or an ATL 3. It can be in a basket or pulled from a dumpster or just dead as a door nail. I am willing to take a reasonable road trip and pay a little for the unit but not my life's savings. When I rebuild one of these processors and have it back to full functionality I send them back out for more use at mainly the cost of the repair parts. I have donated them to local schools with analog film clubs and darkrooms for student use and have passed them onto young start-up photographers interested in analog film . If you happen to have a Jobo ATL that you wish to see in someplace other than your basement, garage, barn, storage shed or as a mouse home contact me and we can talk.
Thanks much. Stay safe and healthy.

An update to my searching for a Jobo rebuilding project for the winter months ahead. Thanks to a member here on Photrio we gave it our best effort. Jim worked hard at getting an ATL-3 out of his photography loft, readied it for shipping then I hired FedEx Freight to transport it. On about November 9th a notation in the tracking was placed of delay in transit. It took 3x longer for the shipment to get to the designated freight dock and when it finally arrived I went to pick it up. To my dismay they managed to DESTROY the processor while in their possession. They obviously stacked something very heavy on top of the processor and crushed it down into the cabinet. They crushed it so completely the only option was to salvage a couple of parts then the rest was sent off to landfill. A word of caution about today's trucking industry standards, Never again will I entrust them with a processor.
RIP in ATL-3.

What a disaster.

IMHO no shipper other than yourself and your vehicle is trustworthy anymore.

UGH. What a bummer Fred. That is so upsetting. I'm driving to LA on Saturday to pick up an ATL2500 myself because I don't trust anyone with it.

I had a drum scanner shipped a couple of months ago from California to Texas using a company called. CEVA. They actually lost the shipment and it couldn't be found anywhere for weeks. Both me and the buyer had to call and call and call to try to get them to take ownership and find the box. Finally, after a few weeks, it was located, only to find that a fork truck had pieced the box with the fork truck. Lucky for us it only nicked the top of the scanner and it ended up working with the exception of a black gash on top of what was a mint scanner at shipment.

I will no longer ship unless it's been professionally created in a wooden box.
