Jobo ATL-1000 rotation motor

Hi,

The rotation motor in my ATL-1000 is making strange noises. It still works, but it's probably a good idea to start looking for a replacement.

The question is: Where can I get one?

In the past I've got parts from Klaus Seynsche, but his website is down (www.fotolaborservice.de), so I wonder if he's still in business. Catlabs is an option too I suppose, but I'll first try to find one closer to home.

Also: Do anyone know the manufacturer and parts number for the motor?

I can probably answer my own question. I found this post: https://www.photrio.com/forum/threads/what-are-those-jobo-parts.74633/ which refers to "Bosch 0 390 206 692". A quick search reveals that this motor is used, among other things, as a head rest motor on some Mercedes cars. Found one on eBay which I bought: https://www.ebay.com/itm/original-B...369611&hash=item3b25e57ebb:g:-qgAAOSwXyBcIVOV

A search on eBay for "Mercedes w124 head rest motor" results in several motors made by Brose, which look very similar to the Bosch.

It might be a good idea to check what the noise is caused by, if it's water (rust) or just worn out.. just saying that any hints of a leakage in the machine might be worth checking up on,

Hi,

Still waiting for the new motor, but I expect to pick it up tomorrow.

I also got a reply from Klaus Seynsche (kds@fotolaborservice.de). He has the motor in stock, and lots of other parts for Jobo-processors.

Hi Trond!

I have a similar issue, but the motor doesn’t make a strange sound. Just slow down, most from one side rotation.

I’m thinking about caps, relay or the rotation motor.

Could you please help me?

I’m looking on eBay for parts to. Found the motor! And here in Brazil i’ve Found other parts, but not the relay.

Do you know which part is the relay?
