Anyone have the lift sensor instructions? Looking for the factory recommended installation location. I could only find this apug posting that I can't quite make out.

bump, still looking for the mounting instructions. I have the unit taped near the end of the lift handle and cord taped to the side. Would like to install it as recommended by the factory.

I'll see if I can find mine.

If not, I'll describe the location. You do have the digital display that goes with it, right?

Hi, Yes I have the timer and cable. The thing works but it's just taped to the outside. I can almost make out the instructions from here (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

If memory serves:
There is a recess for the magnet on the lift arm (small circular socket on the rear side of the arm, about half way up.
The sensor it self is held in a small bracket with is glued to the bottom front inside corner of the lift housing, so that it is in close proximity to the magnet when the lever arm is down.

Thanks, You're description and the picture of the instructions linked above get's me in the general area but still not totally clear. I'm sure I can rig it but wanted to do it as recommended.

Someone was kind enough to send it to me.
