Just clarifying that this is the 2336 tank (not the more current 2523 with the 2509N reels), and takes the old style ellyptical 2021 reels. The tank actually seems designed for inversion agitation which I would prefer. Unfortunately I can't find any info on this old tank (?1970s vintage) on Jobo's website and customer support has taken a nosedive after the closure of Durst USA and the takeover of the US service by Omega Satter.mikebarger said:This is the outfit I use for 4X5. The unicolor base works great. The base I have switches direction. I've not had any trouble with streaks using a dilute HC110 mixture.

I have the exactly same configuration. (Not used until now, but I intend.)
Even putting the clip on the lowest grove (there are 3 of them) it will not fix the reels so that they do not slide up and down. Is there an additional ring I need? If so, where to put that? Between the two reels or above the upper one?
If you still have the instructions, I would gladly receive a scan of it.
Thank you for the link, usefull indeed.
Unfortunately it does not help with my question. I guess that answer can only come from somebody having the exact same configuration as I have. (Two oval 9x12 reels No. 2021 in the 2336 tank.)
Regarding the link you provided, may I suggest an improvement? (Although I am not sure if it is your site.)
Presenting the 3 systems is usefull, but only for those who already know the differences. For somebody who never saw the components of the different systems 1000, 2000 and 2500 say nothing. The only help would be if for every system there would be pictures of the main components so the absolute beginner sees what goes with what and also when seeing them on eBay knows what is what and compatible to what.

English is absolutely ok. German preferred. If it happens that you scan the pamphlet completly (= all languages) in the future, I would suggest to upload it to https://archive.org/
Very interesting to see that a loader existed. I saw that loader on ePay a couple of weeks ago but was not sure for what it is. (It was mentioned it is for Jobo.) Also it had only the two rods, not the guidance.
Can I load my reels without that apparatus?
When I load two reels and clip to the lowest grove I still have 7 mm of movement. On the dry it rattles a bit frightening, but I guess in the liquid the movement is dampened. I just want to know if it is so intended or do I miss some part?
I also could cut a 7 mm piece of pipe but than I would put it between the reels. My guess is that it will allow better flow.
Btw, what is the difference between the two caps? I have the newer one (round and orange) and I never liked it. It takes forewer to put it on and forewer to take it down, so I lose a lot of time when timing my developer, especially at the end. Were the older caps better? Why were they replaced? Are the newer ones liquid tighter? (Mine is indeed thight but only if I manage to put it on correctly, that is not as easy.)
The guy on eBay still has his offer, just modified a bit. Befor he had a big loader and a little loader. The big being for 9x12 and the other for 6,5x9 cm. They inded seem to differ, but he loads the same reel, just that it seems the 6,5x9 stands in portrait position and the 9x12 in landscape. Now I am a bit confused. Can I use the 2021 reels for both format? (Would be very nice.)
