Can someone advise me whether or not my JH Dallmeyer Rapid Landscape LF #2 barrel lens (ssn 49244) is missing a set of lens? My lens only has a rear set of glass (possibly 2 separate sets, not certain), the barrel is just shy of 3 inch, waterhouse slot near the front of the barrel. The lens covers 8x10 on th V8's gg, but definitely softens from the center. According to my calculations, it is about a 13 inch lens with a f11 aperture. Any assistance is appreciated.

Generally a "Landscape" lens means a cemented achromat. In this case your lens should be (as I recall) a three element meniscus type lens. Coverage should get about 50 degrees at f11, and goes up to about 90 degrees stopped down further.

So no, you aren't missing anything.
