So I logged on to APUG. Top left corner, Vic had just posted in the gallery this really great image of the lady, in the rain. While Vic's fingers were still wet in the litho dip, I sent him a PM. I'd like to buy that print.

Big plans this season, as soon as this heat clears there will be some serious shooting with the 14 x 17. Got the film, got the holders, got the lenses, new lab will be up in days. I had the film holders out and were dusting them off and putting them in their individual sleeves, checking and packing the lenses, had the big boy up on the majestic tripod, checking it out. In my glory, stuff everywhere, not much room to move about in our authentic American Adobe cottage- 800 sq ft.

The little woman comes in with the mail and hands me a package. It is the print from Vic....open it, it is as lovely and moving as I thought it would be, nay even more so...

"that is really beautiful", the little woman says, "how did he make that photo "

" He made this photo in the rain with a little plastic camera from China," I said.

Little woman, looks around the room at the holders and the tripods and the lenses, and the "survival gear"..... then she looked at me....and did nt say a word....she did nt say anything for a very very long time.....

Thanks Vic,

The check is in the mail...
keep up the good work...
I like your attitude.

I am a proud owner of one of Victor's prints too, and boy does it sing, like Pavarotti hanging on my wall... I can only second how talented the guy is.
