Just started a project to review about 1,000 slides from decades ago. Borrowed a carousel projector that's in excellent shape. Loaded up my first carousel (140) and it projected all the contents. But, when I tried to eject the tray it wouln't budge! When I depress the release button the carousel stays locked in place. It won't advance or reverse from input via the either the remote cable or the on projector controls.

Any ideas on how to correct this? Many thanks in advance!

Never use the 140 tray. It jams. Use the 80 tray with glass mounted slides. To release the tray, use a coin to turn the metal bar in the centre of the tray. Make sure you have the secure ring tightened on the top, or you will spill the slides when you turn the tray over. Rotate the bottom of the tray while upside down until it clicks into the zero position.

Carousel trays are two part, the tray proper and izs bottom plate. Both must be orientated a certain way to take off the tray.

There must be a certain button pressed at the projector and the same time the tray proper turned until its zero mark aligns with the resp . mark over the slit of the projector.

In case this should not work, one can push away an arrest at the the hub.
