I just received this info concerning a photo seminar by renowned photographer Jack Holowitz in the Northwest region of the US this October. I am honored to call Jack a friend (he's more of a mentor) and a gracious volunteer at the Valley Photo Center here in Springfield, MA

THE ULTIMATE EVENT
WITH JACK HOLOWITZ
SUNDAY, OCT.22-THUR.26 2006
JOIN JACK AND NANCY AT LINDA LAPP MURRAYS COTTAGE ON THE PACIFIC OCEAN.
This will be the seminar of a lifetime! After a day of shooting, developing and printing your images, well network around a bond fire at night. The seminar includes food and lodging right on the ocean. Everyone knows Jacks beautiful work. The seminar will be finding the right light, and exposure. You will be shooting landscapes, nudes and Portraits. The darkroom will provide developing techniques and printing. Jack will also teach his platinum printing.
The choices are to fly to Portland, rent a car to Arch Cape. Or Fly to Seattle. As time gets closer we might be able to pick you up depending on no of photographers and times you are flying in.
Last but not least,( we are driving) and on Friday will head for the Ho Rain Forest in Washington (3 to 4 hr ) for a few days of shooting. You are invited to join us. We stay in a small town and at inexpensive motel .Jack is hoping he can do some figure work there.
The Price is $1200.00 ($400 deposit now)$800 by Aug 30.
