I bought a whole years supply of this film in 35mm when my son showed real interest in photography. I had been processing it in my old friend HC-110 and was, eh, well....not over joyed with the results. On a whim, I tried Acufine. Rated it at EI-1000 (not good), EI-640, 500 and 400 all good.

Acufine at 22 degrees C for 6 minutes with agitation of 10 sec per minute.

I found that even the claim of 1000 with TriX in Acufine is a bit lofty - it gives me workable negs, but not as dense as I would like. I presume that it would probably be par for the course with other "classic" 400 emulsions, I have tried HP5+ in it @400 and got just about perfect results after 4.5 minutes(20 deg C, approx). Sorry, but I have no direct experience with the combo you have, but I thought I'd share what I did find

Peter.

I rate it at EI 640, 6.5 min at 68 deg F (20 deg C), agitating every 30 sec. in Acufine.
