J and C Photo has decided to underwrite a large portion of the APUG Conference. They are our partners in putting on the conference.

They will be sponsoring Cheryl's child portrait work shop, the AZO work shop, and all of the Credit Provincial Park and Streets of Toronto Photo Outings. John from J and C will also be sitting in on one of the Round Table Discussions.

J and C will also have a vending booth at the conference.

This is no small commitment on J and C's part, it means the world to the conference and I hope we make it worth their while.

John from J and C contacted me offering help early on, prior to having anything set up. He could have been throwing good money after bad, but I suspect he figured APUG is his core and he was going to do what he could to support APUG.

Any way there you have it. Go buy some J and C classic and be sure to sign-up for the conference.

P.s. Some may already have noticed J and C's affiliation, but I wanted to wait until there were a few people on line. This way I could give J and C the kind of audience I think they deserve.

P.p.s. I'll have more sponsor announcements shortly. One you may be aware of. The others will be pleasant surprises.

JandC rock!

John, you are a good guy. I have bunch of your film in 35mm, 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10. As I run low, you will see more orders from me. I like your products, I like your attitude and I really appreciate you sponsoring the conference (even though I will not be there!)

Kodak will be a film sponsor and there will a workshop on why digital is better for all landscape photography by the luminous Micheal R - he is after all a Torontonian.

Art (Go ahead - I put on my flame retardant suit long ago )

Will there be a boxing ring for all the guys who convert old Polaroids to 4x5"?

No but there will be a band stand for the APUG Garage Band.

A call for auditions will be happening soon and we will have a horn section...

That would be cool. Then I could take pictures of the action with my Littman.
