I've been offered an enlarger

It's one of them green ones.

Seriously, I don't know what you have there, but it sure is interesting. Very space age looking. I like the swing out triplet filter thing very much.

Probably at 35mm enlarger.

looks something like a Leitz Veloy, but can't be sure. It's as good as its lens, but enlarging lenses are cheap these days.

Not a Valoy. If the bellows are in good shape & there's a neg carrier w/it it might be nice.

Looks like it might be a Gnome - There were quite a number of enlargers made/supplied by a variety of companies, and this one looks very similar to one I have in the loft.

If you want a contemporary lens for it, send me a PM, and I'll see what I can find.

If its Free, take it. If not, flee, unless your in an area that finding others unlikely.

Looks to me like an old Russian Zenith "suitcase" enlarger. Is there a suitcase base that the enlarger stores away in?

My first enlarger, bought when I was in student digs, was a Zenit UPA suitcase enlarger. It looked nothing like the one in the photo. Later I found a Gnome 2 1/4" square enlarger with no neg-carrier in a junk-shop and this design looks similar (so "generic British 1950's enlarger" would be about right). After making a carrier from mounting board I used that at home happily for years.
