Prairies sounds like a cool project. I’d like to get out there one day to photograph.
Yup I never run out of things to shoot in the city, but there’s sooo much awesome country out there to photograph, and I’ve seen virtually none of it, I’m almost embarrassed to say. Maybe one day...
Only 61 yrs old. You are still young! My plan is one camera, one lens, one year, I'm not a young photographer (I'm 61) like Mike Johnston really aimed the program, but I'm going to give it a go. My tools are Nikon F2, Nikkor 50mm f/1.4, and HP5+. I'm not going to be dogmatic about it, if I need a macro lens, I'll use it, but I will not go looking for reasons to remove the 50. I've got too many camera systems. They're getting put away.
I'll see how it goes...

Ditto + some (well quite a lot) C41 and E6 films from my years-old stash.Catch up on printing, which I'm significantly behind on, and more large format work.

I'm hoping to come up with a good idea of a project and actually finish it. Not a clue right now what it'll be though. If I can do some street shooting, that may figure into it, but I don't know. I'm at that point where I'm fairly sure I know what I'm doing when I have a camera in my hand, but I'm not completely sure what I want to say with it.
Other than photographing my latest grandson, I stopped photographic during the pandemic. This is not a time that I want to look back on.
