For Sale It's raining Ebony cameras!: Ebony SV45 and Ebony 45s

Rather than having these live on my shelf for the next year and eventually passing them on to another fellow photographer then, I'm doing it now.
I've been really happy with a Linhof Master Technika, but started looking for an alternative that offered more seamless movements. Ebonys really attracted me due to the reputed build quality. I had settled on a non-folding one due to the ease of deployment. At around the same time, however, someone I know mentioned someone they know, who knew someone ... ...who was interested in selling their SV45. So I figured I'd try it to see what a folding camera is like.

All I can say is that the craftmanship on these cameras is extraordinary. BUT, they are not for me! There is something about wooden cameras that just doesn't feel right. I really value precision. I guess I'm more of a metal than wood camera person. I don't mind carrying a moderately heavy metal brick up a mountain.

Ebony SV45: I'd rate this in Excellent condition. I've tried to capture any imperfections. $2400 net to me.

Ebony 45S: I'd rate it in Excellent condition overall. There is wear on the bottom from contact with a plate. $1800 net to me.
