The US camera has an official case number opened with the USPS. So, hopefully this garners some action!

How? I thought you said you had no record of it. It would be great if they could locate it.
My local post office damn sure isn't doing anything about it. Most of them are stereotypical state employees.

My wife called the USPS national 800 number and beat her way through mindless prompts until she got a living being. He took down all of the information and said we'd get a call in about 2 days. Who knows if they will get anywhere (or even if they'll try), but what the heck - it's worth a try!

Maybe now the proper authorities are on the case

Stealing mail is a serious offence, even today, so if they have hint that someone, somewhere stole a Very Valuable Camera, I expect the same agents that got Dillinger and MG kelly are on the case!

If those same agents are still alive, they are likely VERY old and VERY slow... great candidates for employment by the government!

I know I'll be in Cambridge sometime in June. I'll look for it while I am there. How did we lose the world camera twice?


So Sile, what's the next step? Roasting sacrificial Leprechauns over an open spit? Wait for Camera 6 to come back and decide to send it out as Camera 8? Take up fly fishing?

North American camera disappeared October 18.
European camera disappeared November 01.

How long before we can presume death and cash in the insurance?
