Hello all,
I really can't remember how or when I first happened upon APUG but I officially became a member in December 2010. This is my first post!! I'm excited!! I have found APUG to be a valuable resource and I read it daily. Thank you all for sharing your experience and expertise. I even read the archives thoroughly before starting RA4 printing at home......... still haven't made up my mind about the new Fuji Crystal Archive II.
I am a high school art teacher with an MFA in Studio Art, primarily sculpture. I started teaching photography in 2002 which is what led me "back" to photography. I teach traditional darkroom and film processing and feel a strong responsibility to introduce the younger generation to what originally hooked me as a high school sophomore. Of course I teach the d-stuff too, wouldn't be a responsible photographic educator if I didn't.
I've been shooting primarily with a Mamiya 645 ProTL for about the last 5 years. I'm still getting used to my TLR, a Mamiya C330. I've loved Holga before they were hip and I absolutely could not live without my Polaroid Land 100! (Although I miss the 669 pack film terribly.) I have a bit of a camera addiction, I must confess.
Well thank you so much for being here, just wanted to introduce myself.
