Here's Liz with our new child... "Greenie", a Calumet C-1 "Green Monster" 8x10. Doesn't Liz look like a proud parent? Greenie arrived this afternoon via Brad Walker of The Darkroom Studios in Merchantville, NJ.

Vital stats of the baby - 34" long, 14 pounds (without her eyes).

Greenie will get her lenses installed on boards this weekend. First up - a 17" f/10 Ektanon!

Momma sure looks great after giving birth to a 14 pounder but it looks like she picked up the green of her eyes. A little post natal work and she will be squeezing life out on her own. Good luck and enjoy! A nice 12 inch ambilical attached to her eye ought to keep down her shuttering every time you let her see the light.

Congratulations Bob on the new edition.

Beware the early morning calling to take her out and feed her.

Happy New Year.

Thanks, she can see now - The 17" Ektanon is now on a board in front of a sync'd Packard #6. I had to modify the mount of the Ektanon a bit to get the B/I pin control for the shutter in close enough. Now I just have to decide how/where to bring the flash sync out...

Tomorrow she'll get her first meal of J&C Pro 100!

Congratulations to you Bob, now if only Kodak still had Kodachrome 25 available and in 10x8 too................ :D

Well. congratulations Bob. It's a good thing your so big because I don't think Liz is going to be carrying that baby around much. Just what will it weigh with the tripod and lens? Looks like just the thing to hump over the dunes at the Hook.

Normally, Liz volunteers to be designated tripod bearer, but she doesn't like lugging that Bogen 3036 (who could blame her). I have a feeling she'll only volunteer to carry the film holder bag...

Let's see... tripod & head: 13.5 lbs, camera: 14 lbs, lens/shutter: 2.5 lbs...

Holy pleats! Did you see the bellows on that babe?!

Now that both have their lenses, we should be seeing the best sides of each of them, shortly, I hope. I'm guessing family photos with a really llllong shutter cable????

The way to get the new addition into the shot would be a well place mirror, I'm guessing.

Congrats!
