Issues with Zonemaster II

Hi,

I’ve turned my ZoneMaster II unit after a year of no using, but it fails to start. After the normal start procedure, displaying SW version, paper profile number and step-size value, it enters into calibration mode (CAL displayed) and does not respond to anything. It is possible to enter setup mode during startup, but trying to get back to normal operation it ends with the same issue - unit is stuck in calibration mode. I’ve removed the battery, disconnected power adapter, tried to push any button in a different way and nothing happens. Do you have a clue what could happen and what should I do fix that? Is there any way to reset this unit to factory settings?

I've had odd issues as well after not printing for along time, but after a while it seemed to always figure itself out.

I think I've messed up the calibration in my meter. How do I restore the factory settings?
Simply press 'Clear' while in calibration mode. Exposure compensation and contrast modes and each of the eight paper channels are cleared separately. For example, if you want to clear PAP4, first select PAP4 using short presses of the Cal button. Now press and hold Cal until "CAL" appears on the display. Press Clear, then Focus, then Clear again, then Focus again. PAP4 is now reset to factory calibration (=Ilford MG4 / filters).
