I have an Iskra with a rangefinder off vertically and I figure it probably needs an overhaul before I start using it again as a daily shooter. Anyone know who still works on these (Oleg Khalyavin no longer works on Iskras according to his website) or can point me towards the general proceudres on how to reapair these problems? I'm okay with disassembling the camera with a chance of wrecking it as I'm not using it how it is now.

Jeremy,

There is a fellow named Jurgen who could probably repair your camera. http://www.certo6.com/

Thanks Sandy, I'd forgotten about Jurgen. I sent him an email to see if he works on these cameras. He has a photo of one on his website with new bellows so I'm hoping so. In the meantime, if anyone else has any suggestions please chime in.

Problems to be fixed:

Vertical rangefinder alignment is off
When depressing the shutter the camera will occasionally not activate the shutter, but will setoff the double exposure prevention requiring me to advance the film even though an exposure hasn't been made.

Basically, if someone could walk me through aligning the rangefinder vertically and/or how to disable the double exposure prevention I think that would solve the problems.
