Is this Kodachrome now just "collectible?"

Hi all--
I have a brick of old Kodachrome...Kodachrome 40 Type A. Expired in 1981. I know I will not be able to test and use it all by next December and nobody on APUG classifieds seemed all that interested. So, do I have myself a gen-u-ine Mr. Haney type collectible here? That's fine with me--it looks nice on my shelf. What would you do--use as much as you can or just keep it as a relic from the "good old days?" I have a bunch of fresh Kodachrome that I am shooting (for whatever that is worth to the conversation!) Anyway, just curious what, if anything, you all have to say about it.
Thanks,
Matt

I would shoot a roll and find out if it is collectable or useable.

It appears to use the K-14 process. So give it a shot.

If you don't plan to use it, I'm sure there are some Kodachrome nuts on eBay willing to fund your next donation to the Carl Zeiss Fund.

I dont suppose you would consider sending a roll to a poor pathetic college student who has to eat ramen (Yes, almost 30 and I eat Ramen)... (cue violin music)

Collecting film makes zero sense to me.

Shoot it while Dwayne's is still developing the stuff, or donate/sell it to someone who will.
