Posting in this forum because I'm guessing/hoping that other people here have light tables to view slides and negatives before scanning.

I just bought this light table from B&H. (My go-to store ...) However, the USB port on the light table does not accept the micro-USB cable that comes with the light table. In fact, it doesn't look like any USB female port that I have ever seen. It does not match the product diagram in the user guide.

Anyone else using a Kaiser slimlite light table? What's your experience. Is there a manufacturing issue with this light table?

I've had one for several years. It came with a Micro USB charging port. It also came with a wall wart and matching cable. I believe the Europeans are now going rather heavily into USB-C which looks "almost like" MicroUSB, but not quite; e.g. doesn't couple. Wonder if Kaiser may have changed over?! Maybe you've been caught in the middle of a transition. The wall wart end (of mine) is USB A, so one could no doubt find a different cable to adapt (but shouldn't have to).

Glad all is well. Connectors in general are a pain in the butt, and these new flavors that are so small seem to require a lot of attention to avoid hanging up on insertion. And thanks for that link, a nice reference.
