good morning .
Similar to Agfa Scala ,, is there a process for converting printing paper from negative to positive during development?
Photographer using Penhole camera and filming on paper instead of negatives.
We want to convert this paper to positive during development as in the process Agfa-Scala with the negatives.
Are there any thoughts on this topic.
God bless you

Yes, the same approaches can be used as with reversal black and white film. The same chemicals can be used, but the formulation and processing times will be different. I've done it a few times, but I've always been dissatisfied with the results. The images always suffered from mottling. Contact printing from paper negatives is a more promising approach and requires no reversal chemistry.

This should be useful to you to get started.

Reversal processing of photographic paper shot in camera gives very pleasing results. It's magical that one can get a print without using film or enlarger or needing to use darkroom or doing contact printing.
