Is the Zeiss 21mm external viewfinder made of Metal or not??

Forgive me if the answer's obvious, but really, for the life of me, I've not been able read anywhere on the web if it is or isn't!!

Of course, you know, this is the latest one I'm talking about, not one from 40 years ago

Please...

I think so. It feels like it at least, but it's covered in enamel. The foot most definitely is.

Thanks Tim. I thought so. I'm looking to replace my Voigtlander finder with something a bit more solid.

It's nicer than my Voigtlander 15mm finder. A bit bigger though, and more square, so it tends to catch on things easier.

Yes it is. To be honest, I would have been happy with the CV version (if it's like the 15mm one), but I got the Zeiss one along with the lens and hood for a good deal less than the lens sells for alone. Yay used market.
