Is the Kodak Brownie Twin 20 the Holga's grandfather...?!

It sure is in the same category, but maybe a couple steps up. Is the lens glass or plastic? The body is bakelite, so my money is on it being glass. I'd love to see the photos taken with it...

It would be interesting. Who owns one?

I don't own one, but I almost hit the ebay "buy now" button a few times. If you do get one, make sure it comes with a 620 spool. I've got a few spools, but one more wouldn't hurt.

"CLACK" [as in AgFa Clack]
and in the 50s in Germany it cost over 100$
its funny people think LOMO and HOLGA and DIANA's are over priced LOL

We shall see...

As with the Holga, I may want to epoxy a block to the body, prepared for a plunger to activate and maintain shutter release lever for long exposure. I drew a good schetch of a possible build, then lost it!

Old Kodak box Brownies had a small hole drilled in the shutter release lever so you could tie a thread to it to use as a remote shutter release. It works, I tried it for some attempts at self portraits with the dog. I needed to arrange for the cord to turn a corner so it pulled down on the lever. I also had to tie the camera to something so it didn't move (which it liked to do, usually straight down to the floor). I thought about making a wood plate with a 1/4-20 nut in it that I could rubber-band to the camera for a tripod mount but rather gave up on the whole project.

Perhaps one could glue a tripod quick release plate to the bottom - a clone of a Manfrotto 200PL maybe?

Wood plate: I made an L-shaped one, with the insert and rubber band. It works, but one has to be a bit gentle on the shutter release, as it is far from the center of gravity on the whole rig. A cable release would be more "neutral", and allow easier long exposures
