I shoot mostly 35mm and a little 120 film in a variety of cameras. Over the summer I want to develop my own B&W film and then scan in into the computer. For that I obviously need a good scanner; absolute maximum I would want to spend is 100.
Is the Epson V300 a good choice? 75 on Amazon with 35mm film holders. Is it possible to scan 120 on a flatbed like this?
The specs say its 35mm, so I'm willing to bet it abides by its specs. IFF you can do 120 it would likely not be more than 645 with the requirement for you to make your own holder
You may find this review interesting, it seems to indicate that it is in the same ballpark of other Epson scanners but of course only narrower.
