I have been mailing film for decades for processing in the US and never had a problem.

Has anyone here on Photrio had any problems with photographic material they ordered via mail, UPS, Fedex or similar?

No, I haven't, but that is just my experiences here in the US. Someone else probably has. I would think about paying for it w/ Paypal or a credit card, just in case. You could file a claim if something goes wrong.

Think this through. Film has been shipped from USA to Australia and days (probably weeks) later you claim it was delivered ruined. Possibly because it was X-rayed by a foreign government. And you can prove the problems were not from development or operator error. OK, right.........

Here in Germany at buying from private persons shipping is on the risk of the buyer. Thus not covered by Paypal or such, to my understanding.

Moreover a parcel service has no contract with the addressee, making claims against them a nightmare...
