I wonder if all the people that can reach them are running windows with the server address cached?

Nope, no go here, I have tried ping, trace as well as flushing my cache, they are not online right now.

Im on a mac running Firefox.

Yeah. The Windows resolver caches addresses for 24 hours, regardles of what you have set in your zone. So, if someone on a windows box hit www.keh.com last night and got in, they wouldn't know (or care) that the keh.com DNS servers are unreachable for 24 hours.

Saw the same problem today, googled KEH, still no luck - clicked the sub link and got in. Figured the problem was from upgrade of IE6 to IE7...what a pain that has been.

Keeps working for me.

To check the "cache" thing I went on and chose a tab I've never been to befor (it's the SELL section - please don't tell the wife - she may think I'm serious!)

Well interesting,

One thing some may check....

I clicked on Georges link and got the page telling me my cookies are not enable, which of course is incorrect, but seems they may have changed somethings on their website correctly.

Also one thing to remember, just because a website is offline, don't mean a company is no longer in business, there are many of us that actually remember doing business BEFORE the web came around!

LOL

I got that too, Dave, just now. I was able to get to the main site though, by removing everything but the www.keh.com... I've not use IE in many, many years, but I know that if you hold down the shift key when you click the refresh button it will force IE to read a fresh page, unless of course that changed in this new version...

Reuter's Headline

"U.S. warns of possible Al Qaeda cyber attack"

Maybe Al Q is starting their cyber attack by shutting down KEH

Look I can only go so far with this.

I PROMISED the better half that I would lay off the KEH stuff for a month. I'm trying to stay clean here, man!

Please don't make me go there and order something!! :surprised:

Hey George.. why not order something REALLY nice for your Hassy. Use my address to have it sent to. Your wife will never find out. I promise, I won't say ANYTHING! :D

Oh Brian - that's cool. Great minds are in gear here!

But I have an even better idea. I'll order something and have it delvered here. I'll tell my wife that it's really for you but you don't want your wife to find out. So you asked me to get it for you and "check it out" for a while....:D

It's a different cache than the browser cache. The only way I know of to clear it is to reboot the windows box... In any case, I can get to KEH from home. My ISP must have the address cached.

From the command line:
ipconfig /flushdns
