Is it okay to change the push processing when the roll weren't finished.

so, I'm new to the whole analogue 35mm. a week ago, i just bought kodak colorplus 200 and wasnt realized that i had my asa set on 800 (+2 stops). around the 27th exp, i changed it into 200. my question is, will it affect the film somehow? like maybe broken result or possibly the whole roll? thankyou, any answers will be appreciated.

Two stops is within the exposure latitude of color [and black & white] negative film, so change the ISO and develop normally. Some shadow detail may be lost. If it had been slide film, then there would be a problem and the roll would have to be developed longer.

Honestly in my opinion, you should've kept shooting at ASA 800 and then pushed in development.

Now you have either a couple of very underexposed frames or a couple of very overexposed frames depending if you want to develop it normally or pushed.

You might want to do something in the middle and when developing the 35mm give it a +1 push in development. This will give best of both worlds probably. (Your lab likely offers this option for Push/Pull)

how about the grain? will it be grainier?

Probably not. It is within the range of exposure latitude, but they may be some loss of detail.
