I have been given a couple of boxes of Brovira BS112 and the paper rpints lovely, no fog at all. I just don't know for sure how long I should wash, because I can not determine whether this paper is fiber or rc.

I have some old Agfa Brovira BW317 which is Grade 2 Soft Extra White Silkgrain, it is an RC type paper and is denoted by "PE" on the box label. So, if it says 'PE' (standing for Polyethylene, I think) then it is treated as RC. This is the only indication I can offer.
I have some Portriga Rapid RRW112 and Record Rapid RRS119 (both lovely papers) that are FB.
Regards, Mark Walker.

Congratulations to the gift. Brovira was , and is for those who have papers left , a wonderful paper and BS112 denotes a fiber based paper. If the first digit is 1 , then it is fiber based. If it is 3 , it is an RC paper. BS means soft contrast, BN normal contrast and BH hard contrast. Keep printing !

Everyone has cried for old papers to be brought back but I have heard very little for Brovira. It would be my first choice to be put back into production (or Zone VI Brilliant).

I loved brovira too, esp. the grade 5 (or 6) - it was the best paper ever for Sabbatier/Solarization.
