I recently bought an Olympus Trip to replace my old one. It is in beaut physical condition but it has disappointed me by producing unsharp photos at all distances. Can this be fixed? Recommended repairer?

The cost to get a repair person to fix it maybe a steep, depending on what it is worth to you. Up here, a basic repair is about $85 IF you can find someone to do it. If you are a bit meticulous and very precise about taking thngs apart, it is doable but can cause a loss of hair

You just need to re-calibrate the focus, it can be done in 20 minutes if you have the tools. Well, you don't need much, just a good 'ol kit of precision screwdrivers, tripod, frosted scotch tape, measuring tape & magnifying loupe. Once the top cover is removed there's a trick to keep the shutter open.
