Wow, lot`s of great photographs on your website! Really good.
Buuuut, I`d fire your webdesigner instantly, your website is on my top 5 "most annoying websites ever" list.

Gotta agree with Amund and Ray on this one. Really nice pictures, but even after disabling the music, you hear music each time a picture loads.

Welcome to APUG, by the way. I, too am addicted to Lith printing.

Welcome to APUG Jacob. As you have found out you will receive honest feedback here which is a wonderful thing. I love lith prints and the few of yours that I took the time to see look very good. I have to agree with the others regarding the web site design. IMO simple is best especially for photography. After all it is the photography that should be the star of the show.

Please appreciate the honest feedback and don't be offended by it.

Regards,
Bill

Hello Jacob,

I cant open the site. I am on a slow connection and after 5 minutes I just closed it down. I wish I could view it. Nice to meet you and welcome.

Well I beg to differ. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Quality work, lovely tones and the music, well I turned it up. love it.

One critique, there appears to be a forum missing in the links!!!

Welcome Jacob

Stoo

P.S Keeds, Bit strong wasn't it!

hi again - hm its true: without a fast connection it's not a pleasure to discover the site. but 5 minutes kevin, that's unbelievable. you're sure, that you droped the flash-plugin in to your maschine?

well, the site is new - i will see, what 'am going to transfer.

the opinions about the design are quite different, but i think, the strucure is pretty clear - i don't like overstimulated, overloaded pages either.

finally, the invitation is an invitation - everybody is free to leave.

but for sure - it's nice, that there are some guys who like my work

regards from barcelona,

jacob

Hello,
Your photography is really great and inspiring, perfect use of the technique.

Well, the website is 'pimped' too much to my taste...
But, it's your call.

I couldn't take the website long enough to really get a feel for the pics. First of all, if the sight is about images, then don't assault people with music. The odds that people's taste in music and images both will match yours is extremely low. Second, pick a font that can actually be read. Third, why the sideways text? Are there sideways images I didn't get to?

One more thought, from a guy who spends a lot of time and money on web designers: if the designer tells you he has a really cool idea and you are actually trying to convey information with the web site, run away. Fast.

stoo, yes a bit harsh. i apologise. but inconsiderate design is a pet hate. there is no need for it. kiss (keep it simple stupid...) if the content is good enough a simple design will suffice. just my opinion.

There is some excellent photography here Jacob, I particularly liked the stairs. I have to agree with the comments regarding the accessability of the site as well as the comments about the music. It seems to me that there it too much going on and this tends to distract from some great images.
