an LF Super-Hero? What would his name be? Bellows-Man? Mr. Rapid-Rectilinear? The Dagor Kid? He'd have to carry a magnesium-powder flash around to blind his enemies, and the camera would literally capture them on film. His moral dilemma would come from being unable to develop all that film he shot that has his nemeses captured in it, or they'd get out.

I was thinking of switching to LF but I need a LOT sexier looking camera than that Kodak 2D :rolleyes:

OMG talked to Jason about it, and I like the orginal (it actually happened) version of his tale. Jason needs to redo that in the cold weather it really happened in. I still think this is one of the best things I've seen on apug?

Super Hero? a black and white cape? Lowepro utility belt? able to bokah at a single shot? Give me time I can think of more, after breakfast.

Jason! That was brilliant! Not only that, but the timing is excellent, since I've been quietly nursing a case of LF fever for months. I'm looking forward to this!

This brings a whole new area to think about. Jason you may want to think of changing vocations. I hope the dvd is as embraced as the trailer for it.

I told Jason to put outtakes at the end of it. Your Job Tommy should you accept it, is to make sure the outtakes are saved for posterity. This post will not self destruct in 10 seconds. Call it the ILF - Irreverent Large Format

BUUUTTTTT..... His outtakes are .. not always apealing. I know he may look well composed and somewhat self contained on the outside but ... well, after a few hours of taping he kinda gets a little loopy.

I told him that I may hide a few outtakes in dvd easter eggs. but are you sure you want to see that.

I'll tell you tomorrow night after I spend a bit of time during the day watch him do a shoot near me.

Wonder if they make special high top sneakers for super hero photographers? Of course they have to be done in Zone 5 greyscale coloration.

Those LF cameras are nothing to sneeze at...
It seems that the design of the WLF in my Hasselblad was made not only to block light but also sneezing. Genius.
You spend two hours setting up the camera for that perfect moment and then by sneezing you miss it. I can't see how this will attract people to move up a format!

It'll make it in the DVD, I am curious how many people might want this in the PAL version vs. NTSC. I have to create two completely different Discs when I do. I'm not sure how many International takers the DVD will have. Any opinions, I really wish Alternativecamera.com could afford to have it translated and allow for multiple languages available. Sorry Just random thoughts.
