Introducing new blog about street photography

Hello,

I want to introduce my new photoblog. The idea is to show a photowork in particular, New York walking down the street, with one weekly post, one weekly photography.

The main characteristic is the text accompanying each photograph explaining the reasons to shoot and some circumstances that made me take a picture as well.

Great initiative. I look forward to read it!

Interesting to see that you shoot MF (Hasselblad) and a medium speed film. Any reason you don't use a high speed film (400+ ISO)?

OK but it might limit you to static shots when the light get dim (and winter is soon...).

Yes, but if I want to photography people at these hours when the light get dim I can use flash, or tripod for streets or buildings.

I like simplify and reduce equipment to the maximun.

If you want to simplify and reduce equipment, forget the 100 ISO film, load 400 ISO film (possibly pushed to 800) and skip flash and tripod.

Nothing is wrong with it. Despite all of the urban legends what Garry Winogrand was using only TRI-X pushed at 1200, I have seen his contact prints from ISO 125 film.

It is shorter days in winter to photograph, but it gives longer time to print without staying late.
