I produced the image in the attachment by shooting internet in camera and then processing it in E-6 at plus 3 stops. The color was totally distorted.
Thought i would show it to you all. The real colour in the scene was rich blue.

Part of the reason is that the interneg film has a mask and is also balanced for tungsten light. This would really mess up the color! It also has low contrast.

but it possibly has some creative application? i just thought it was worth sharing so others could put it in the back of their minds as a "this is what happens...."

Is that CDUII? I absolutely love that film. There is nothing better for shooting sunsets and twilight time, IMO. What EI do you get with it processed normally?

I find this kind of stuff fascinating. I downloaded that and played a bit with it in Photoshop. Looks overexposed in the red channel. It almost looks solarized when adjusting the hue.

you might want to try over exposing it by 3 stops and processing normal e6.

I think the strange colors are more because of cross process than tungsten balance. I did some daylight negs in E6 and in all cases colors were heavily distorted.

What was EI?

I recently bought a bulk roll of 35mm ITN. I've only shot one test roll and processed in c41. Tested EI from 0,75 to 25 and I think 0,75 looks best.

Next thing I was planning was c41 and +3 push to get more speed and contrast.

The strange colours may also be in part a result of a 3 push dev. Sometimes when experimenting I find it better to keep the dev at normal and play w/ the exposure as the materials were built for a set time in the chems. When dev. c41 materials in e6 overexposure seems to work better than over development (depending upon what you like). Over development tends to give really muddy highlights (often with strange colour casts) and weak shadows, where as 'oversxposure' tends to produce a neg with better contrast, cleaner highlights and denser blacks.

I had not made mention but there were 2 sheets that got exposed and processed. I had processed the first at normal sadly no image resulted. So I processed to put the second sheet in at plus 3 stops. The scanned sheet is what resulted. My iso as previously mentioned was 6 iso. to confess I had no idea what the speed of the material was when i shot it.
