I attended the opening last night of Meltdown, mountain/glacier photos of Jim Elzinga & Roger Vernon. The aerial photos .....monumental size prints roughly 2m x 3m (6' x9') (digital images with the phase one camera)....beautifully printed, really come as close as you can to the emotions of being in the ranges. An impressive & expressive show even for a luddite B/W printer like me. A must see show if you are in the area. The last show I saw that was this impressive was the show of Vittorio Sella's prints also at the Whyte..... & that's high praise.
