Hello,
I was trying out some landscapes with a Nikkor 10.5 cm PC on bright partly overcast day, playing around with shutter speeds and aperture and found what looks like flare in some images. The glass looks good to the naked eye but the old flashlight shows some odd spots. See pictures. Is this internal flare? I thought perhaps it was due to oily blades, but the pesky spots remain regardless of f/2.5 or f/32 when using the flashlight; although more intense at f/32. Normally I use this lens for portraits in appropriate light and never noticed anything like this. Any thoughts? I know.. 'don't use it for landscapes.'
Lens: Nikkor 10.5 cm PC ltm with hood
Camera: Leica MP
Film: HP5.
1st Landscape image aperture f/22 or f32
Flashlight test image aperture f/2.5
Thanks!
