Any suggestions on where to buy some interleaving paper?

At one time I always used LightImpressions, but we all know that is a foolish decision these days.

I don't like the tissue paper stuff, need something with more body.

What about glassine? Available on rolls in most art supply places. I use it to separate fiber prints when flattening in a dry mount press at low (just warm to the touch) temp. I was told by a museum conservator that it's a good neutral storage material.

thanks . I am going to give archivalmethods a try.

I really don't like glassine nor using rolls as table space is at a premium.

I got a few sheets of vellum at Sam Flax recently for a special project, but it is too expensive for daily use.

The finest interleaving is AlphaRag ArtCare one-ply, available at Dead Link Removed, an APUG advertiser and supporter.

hi ann

you might also think about gaylord brothers, they are a supplier to libraries
or talus in new york both talus and gaylor sell book binding supplies.
if they don't carry what you need, they might be able to point you in the right direction

good luck !
