I really like instax films - I have mini camera. But two things I don't understand in Fuji philosophy:

- why they don't make nice cameras - they don't need to be perfection like sx-70 model 1, but something similar...
- why (oh, WHY?) there is no B&W instax film?

1. Cost. They could make a nicer camera, but most of the people buying instant film nowadays (pictures with Santa, etc) are looking more for low cost than high quality.

2. Rate of return. Polaroid only had black-and-white integral film for about 3-5 years in the early 2000s. Other than that, it was color all the way.
