I can't find a datasheet from Fujifilm on this film, unlike their colour instax film, for which a sheet exists. I'm particularly interested in whether the dynamic range or characteristic density curve is as short and steep as colour instax (only about 3.5 stops range). Instax colour is a nice film except it's incredibly contrasty. Does anyone have either data or anecdotal experience on the range of the monochrome film compared to the colour? Also, is it a truly neutral gray? I've read some reports that there's quite a bluish cast.

I don't have sensitometric data for Instax Monochrome. But in use, it feels if anything more contrasty than the color. It's difficult to work with, or at least I haven't yet learned how to use it with a decent yield. So far my luck has been better with the color material.

It's not neutral gray - I would say it has a whiff of blue-green.

I could put a pice in my senstometer and see. However, the limit is always the step wedge. Mine are all 21 half-steps, so they are used only for toe and straight-line. The shoulder is not included, unless it is narrow film, which it might be.
