Hello

I’m trying to find some help on how to properly install the replenishment unit to my Fujimoto CP-31, I have been using it without replenisher for a few years but I recently found one replenishment unit on eBay and bought it to complete my set up and hopefully be able to do long printing sessions without having to manually replenish every 2-3 hours.

I have been reading the different threads that are already open here about the processor but I couldn’t find the manual of the replenishment unit anywhere (I already have the manual of the main unit)

These are the steps that I’ve followed to install it and the issues that I’m coming across...

-I’m testing it with water so first thing I do is filling up the 3 baths on the main unit with 2 litters of water each

-I place the rollers and top lid

-I connect the 3 transparent hoses that are in the back of the unit to the 3 top tube connectors in the replenishment unit, then put the 3 bottom hoses coming out of the replenishment unit on 3 different containers with water.

-connect the ac cable of the replenishment unit to the power outlet in the back on the main unit (not to the wall),

-Connect the 3-pin DIN cable that goes from the back of the replenishment unit to the 3-pin DIN port in the back of the main unit.

-Then I finally turn on the processor but only the fan turns on, and this is the issue, is only if I disconnect the 3-pin DIN cable that the processor turns on normally (engine sounding and rollers moving), I can operate the manual replenisher switch that’s in the back of the replenishment unit which makes me think that the replenishment is functional (the 3 pumps pump water normally) but for some reason if the 3-pin DIN cable is connected the processor won't work, for what I understand the 3-pin DIN cable is necessary so the main unit and the replenisher can communicate properly, knowing when to pump every time a piece of paper is fed. is that correct?

Has anybody experienced this issue before?

Many thanks in advance, I really appreciate any help as is a near impossible to find extensive info of this old EQ online.

Best
