What I am so blown away re this is the price, it was $300 which is like $7000 in today's dollar! I guess that might explain the scarcity of the neat camera, thanks for the share!

Actually, $7,000 is a reasonable price. There are plenty of view cameras whose new retail price is in that area. This camera included two lenses and a specialized shutter.

Aaah, this is the second one, I was given one of these a few years ago, but the leather was peeling off so I used the lenses as magnifying glasses and used the body for fire kindling

That was about the time I swapped the Duesenberg Straight 8 for a Volvo 240GL

Anyway, enough time wasted here, there is work to do processing yesterday's sheets and pack all my DDS for the trip along the coast providing the God of Long Clouds answers my prayers and does not give me any more cotton wool fluffy desert crap

Heretic. The only thing to swap a Deusy for is a Citroen deux chevaux. I got a nice VW Beetle for my Blower Bentley.

Half of that $300 is the matched pair of Zeiss Protar VIIa lenses. With a pair of Dagors it was $258, without lenses it was $150.

I thought I had been cured of Gear Acquisition Syndrome until I saw that picture of Franke & Heidecke stereo rig. Bet those are rare as hen's teeth. Please, no one tell me how much they're worth.
